Manager, Business Analyst

This Business Analyst will work in partnership with Business Partners supporting the Global Product Development organization to deliver key Business Technology solutions.  The Business Analyst is responsible for understanding, elaborating, and communicating requirements to ensure technology solutions and strategy initiatives meet the needs of its intended audience. This role will independently: Establish relationships with customers and members of the project team and liaises between the business and technical members of the project team, ensuring that the project team understands the customer needs Utilize specific techniques to elicit requirements from stakeholders, analyzes, organizes, documents, and validates the resulting requirements, and communicates and secures agreement on the requirements across stakeholders Build, validate and update diagrams, models and other artifacts to describe business processes, conceptual information models , organizational structure, business area context and/or system requirements Establish the requirements baseline and traces requirements throughout the project lifecycle Manage change in requirements over the project lifecycle Provide input on design to ensure that the design meets the requirements Support the development of the testing plan and scripts, supports the execution of UAT testing and ensures that all requirements are met in the final solution Plan and communicate the requirements management approach and change management plan to be used for the project. Provide input to the project work breakdown structure and the overall project plan Identify areas of risk due to requirements and surface to the project manager Partner with the project manager to assess the impact of changes in requirements on the project scope and timelines For larger projects and programs, define BA staffing profile for vendor contracted BA resources For smaller projects, oversee vendor contracted resources and/or provide coaching to more junior BAs In partnership with Senior Business Partner, this role will: Contribute to pre-project business case development Contribute to strategic planning Act as an advocate for customers while simultaneously identifying areas like business process that need to be changed within the business to ensure project success. Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degreerequired, preferably in a scientific discipline or computer science Prior Experience: 6+ years' experience in project level business analysis using standard requirements business analysis techniques including brainstorming, interviewing, requirements sessions, activity diagrams, process modeling, conceptual data modeling, use case and wireframes desired 1-3 years' experience in program level business analysis leadership Familiarity with systems life cycles and organizational change management desired Relevant experience in Information Technology in the context of the pharmaceutical industry preferred IIBA Business Analysis certification desired Required Capabilities: Facilitation, consensus building, organization and written communication skills Ability to work in ambiguous situations Demonstrated skills in analysis and problem solving Coaching and mentoring of junior resources NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS Minimal project travel may be required. 4717395

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
