Senior Project Manager - Forensics & eDiscovery

Job Description: The Senior Project Manager for Forensic Managed Services (FMS) is an on-site, single client facing position and serves as the primary client contact for all projects.  The Senior Project Manager (FMS) is primarily responsible for managing project tasks and deliverables, architecting projects, project planning and scoping, developing project schedules, and all other work involved in the overall management of the project.  The Senior Project Manager (FMS) will remain the consistent, on-site, single point of contact on all projects from initiation to closing.  Responsibilities include ensuring client requirements are defined and met throughout the project and managing priorities and assignments for a team of Data Collection Engineers and Forensic Consultants.    Responsibilities and Essential Functions: The Senior Project Manager (FMS) manages project tasks and deliverables, architecting projects, project planning and scoping, developing project schedules, and all other work involved in the overall management of the project.  This includes managing resources on all projects and all client communication.   Works closely with the collection project coordinator as well as collection engineers to ensure accurate and timely completion of all requests Manage projects day to day, including monitoring task completion and billing elements Holds primary responsibility for schedule adherence, customer satisfaction, and project details that do not require an SME to perform Manages client communications (both oral and written) with an expectation that all communication must be clear, concise and well written Attend scoping calls to understand and document project requirements for distribution to all interested parties. Ensure project requirements and deadlines are met, as well as take appropriate action when such deadlines are in jeopardy of not being met. Schedule and run Project Design Meetings and internal project team meetings Create client status reports as needed by the client Manage all project tasks with a task management methodology and tools leveraging all resources Administrative: Timely pre-bill review and return to Program Director  Mentor and assisting team members Initiate process improvement initiatives  Responsible for large and complex cases that involve extensive knowledge or electronic evidence discovery as well as internal processes and procedures Required Characteristics and Credentials: Must hold a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience, 5+ years project management experience in multifaceted and fast paced legal environment either with a vendor in the litigation support industry or a law firm Knowledge of litigation discovery best practices involving consulting, collections, and processing, specifically for large, complex, multi-party matters Advanced understanding and experience of the EDRM model in support of litigation Advanced understanding of data collection and computer forensic tools; EnCase, FTK, Black Light, MacQuisition, Cellebrite, etc. and at least one commercial litigation processing and review platform; Relativity, iConnect, Clearwell, IPRO eCapture, or NUIX Advanced computer skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook, MS Project and SharePoint Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills Must possess the ability to interact effectively with different levels of client contacts (technical staff, paralegals, and partners). The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
