Web Developer

Position Responsibilities/Requirements As a developer, this staff member will support analysts and managers in resolving complex defects in a timely manner. They will also assist with the design and coding or client enhancements and support analysts with complex technical analysis. Responsibilities: Work with analysts by resolving and coding defects, and assisting with the estimating , designing, and coding of enhancements. Support business analysts on the team in their diagnosis of issues and provide remediation solutions. Analyze requests and functional specifications documents to understand requirements. Collaborate with business analysts to understand requirements. Design solutions with guidance from more senior developers, develop code and review code developed by peer staff members. Perform production support duties or be on call as needed and analyze and resolve technical issues. Ensure that all policies, procedures, and standards are followed while performing the above activities Requirements: 2 plus years in a Developer-Analyst position. Experience in a Financial Services environment or banking knowledge is desired. Good communication skills, as this role requires daily interfaces with a variety of analysts, programmers, and customers. Must be goal-oriented and have a desire to arrive at solutions on a timely basis. Good analytical and interpersonal skills. The position requires a diligent, goal oriented, trustworthy individual, who strives for excellence and is a strong team player. Must have a strong desire to learn new technologies and keep abreast of changing business strategies and priorities. Technical Skills: Demonstrated competency in several phases of software development. Must possess strong skills with tools and products used in the software development, such as Java, Mumps, Java, Oracle, Relational databases, SQL including stored procedures and tools.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
