Bench Scientist Biologist needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh's client located in Collegeville, PA. The Big Picture - Top Skills You Should Possess: - Molecular and cell biology - Human cells - Phenotypic assays What You'll Be Doing: - Primary tasks will include establishing and characterizing cell lines for gene knock-out or knock-in. - Expected to maintain accurate and organized records and to prepare archiving documents. What You Need to Bring to the Table: - Has theoretical and practical knowledge in biological sciences with hands on laboratory experience, a PhD degree (with less than two (2) years of post-degree experience) or equivalent is required. - Good knowledge of molecular and cell biology with extensive laboratory experience in handling human cells, including establishing clonal cell lines, culturing immortalized as well as primary cells (co-culture) and ES/iPS cells. - Knowledge and experience on cell based and/or phenotypic assays is a plus.
