POSITION
Summary:
1st shift, 6am to 2:
30pm, OT available Medical benefits, 401K, 2 weeks paid vacation! Job Responsibilities Read, understand basic blueprint and drawings.
Must be able to use basic measuring tools including, tape measures, digital and dial calipers.
Operate machine and program cuts on machine to job order requirements.
Properly match up consumables to be used on cutting head required per thickness and material composition.
Load and offload cutting table of scrap and finished parts.
Maximize utilization of remnant material.
Check quality of parts off machine including measurements, cutting edges, and edge taper.
Keep work area clean and organized including sweeping and wiping machine down.
Daily maintenance includes cleaning plasma cutting table of slag and dross left over after cutting process.
Required Education and Experience HS Diploma or GED, Technical school not required.
Basic math skills Ability to read tape measure to the 1/32 1-2 years manufacturing experience 1-2 years' experience Plasma cutter / Burner table operation Ability to read blueprints and perform a flat layout.
Willingness to work as a team member and positive attitude.
Capable of repetitive lifting up to 50lbs Mechanically inclined Detail Oriented Offers contingent upon successful completion of background check, drug screen and physical.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a manufacturing, warehouse, production, factory, distribution type setting.
